D-r Rumyana Mihailova has graduated in the stomatology faculty in 1982. She has acquired specialty of general dentistry and she herself is a stomatologist. Able to implement any kind of dental procedures even most specifically profiled such as extraction of teeth, operation of orthodontic apparatus, making of prosthesis, dental bridges, crowns, fillings, treatment of parodontosis, with over 24 years experience in this field. Since 1990 she started her own business and currently she owns 4 private dental surgeries. Associated member of an American company since 1991 every year she takes part in the company’s symposiums in Bulgaria and employs their supplies. Besides, she is using specific materials from Swiss dental provider, also from world leading German and Austrian companies. Her dental services enjoy highest level of accomplishment by the credential of her many European and American colleagues.
The Bulgarian education include all medical exams plus 15 local special subjects, the overall term of study being 6,5 years with separate specialties and 6 months training in basic laboratories for surgery, orthopedics, therapeutics, children dentistry and orthodontia. After 5 years and the above exams successfully taken next follows general
examination in 5 academic departments, practice and theoretical examination, and only after that one is entitled to have become specialist in stomatology. A procedure is going currently to be confirmed as doctors of dental medecine.
